Hi, I’m Shelby Reicks — an American travel content creator with a Midwest upbringing and a global mindset.

I was raised on a dairy farm in rural Iowa, alongside five siblings and one bathroom. Travel wasn’t something we did — by the time I turned 21, I’d only been on a plane twice. As a small-town American kid, exploring the world felt out of reach… so I decided to build a life that made it possible.

I started my content journey on TikTok in late 2023 and expanded to Instagram in 2024. I took a leap of faith and quit my corporate job in marketing in July of 2024. Since then, I’ve grown a community of over 600,000+ followers who come for the destination inspiration, travel tips, honest reviews, and brand collabs — and stay for the realness.

As an American who had to carve out her own path into travel, I create content that’s grounded, relatable, and high-impact.
